Week #16 what I learned this week in child development is all about careers. Careers on working with children such as pediatrician, fire firefighter, dentist, and teacher I researched on and added to the power point. I learned that most jobs working with children don't pay a lot but you get to work with children which is the best in my opinion and more fun! A few guest speakers came into my class such as my principle and I learned about different things you can do with an eduction degree! Silly fact I learned this week is at 0-4 weeks of pregantcy the baby is the size of a poppy seed and 4 months the baby is the size of an advocado.

Week #15 what I learned this week is the process of making a toddler environment and designing the layout of everything in the building and the simple things like what toys and stroage. I worked with a patenter and created a layout of the rooms and placement of everything after that we did a PowerPoint of what toys and type of storage is used for each room. I learned toddlers are older so more mature things like learning and fun which is different than babies cause babies just need fun. I learned or had to think of certain types of jobs that involves children or toddlers and how you do the job. Think about how to make an environment for toddlers and Jobs where you are working with children like toddlers like in the toddler environment..

Week #14 I learned in my child devoplpment all the sensory or congtive development of toddlers we watched inside out and the movie shows the different senses of your Brian and how feelings and things go and are used. The different developments show or make the toddlers the person. I learned how to make a toy for toddlers and I used congtive and it's hard to create a toy for a toddler and it safe the toy I created was a block in different shapes with family pictures the buyer can slip pictures inside the block or personally printed pictures on the block. The toddlers need to learn and have fun with the toy. I learned the different developments and creativity of making a toy using them for a toddler.

Week #13 I learned in my child development class about how to make and create ideas of a toddler class! I had to come up with an idea for sensory lesson for a toddler class so my group and I came up with play dough and questions about how does the play dough feel smell and look like all the senses and they play with the dough and made things out of the dough. We had to teach the lesson by hand out play dough and ask the questions! Learned that the lessons plans have to be plans for every second and learning and asking but fun and they can use all the senses! Everything has to be interactive with the toddlers! I also learned that the toddler lessons have to have all the senses for every lesson and they have all the ideas for the lesson! The play dough had all the senses and even the steel just not the tast!

Week #12  I learned in my child development class this week the idea of tantrums for like toddlers and what tantrums are! Tantrums I learned I just the idea of the toddler wanting something so they throw a tandrum to get what they wanted and they scream and stuff for it and to get attention they throw tandrums. The toddler screams shouts cries and is very upset and they will do it for Awhile and then be totally fine and act like they didn't just through the tandrum and is basically a whole new toddler! When a toddler throws a tandrum just don't pay attention and leave the child alone is the best way to handle the tandrum and then talk later.

Week #11 I learned this week in my child development class of deciding if infants should watch tv or have screen time as toddlers as an example watching a show called Baby Einstein the show had sign language, learning what objects are and so much more but the idea of it is should toddlers watch screen time? I did research to see what experts say or scientists it helped me more with thinking about it the idea and I do believe in toddlers watching screen time but it has to be very limited like on tv show maybe not even that long and that's all for the day or if you can't keep the time on limits then don't let the toddler have any screen time at all! Cause I feel the toddler can learn and get entertainment out of screen time but not to much! All the experts and scientists say NO SCREEN TIME AT ALL!!!!!!!!!! I feel like scientifically they are right and their idea but I feel like they can watch the screen time for a little, I didn't like the show at all but if I was three or two I would. I didn't like learning the sign language.

Week #10 I Learned this week in my child devoplpment class how to make a nursery or infant nursery school! The project was easy and very creative in some ways but some ways all the rules were so tough and so many I wasn't able to get over them and do what I want so it was difficult to get over them! I knew I had 11 infants so I had to have 11 cribs and stuff! Always plan for the amount planned. I had to think everything through like should I place the toy area by the cribs no because some might be sleeping and others playing! Common Sense is what I had to kick in to be creative of making smart decisions on placement and picking things that's on buget but nice thing not cheapy.  I made the cribs lined up which helps a lot in the very back room away from everything! The idea of making a nursery is not easy it's all difficult but fun!

Week #9 this week I have learned about creating a lesson plan as I was creating a lesson plan it was very difficult and a challenge to come up with an idea, and something very second so the infant never gets bored, and they always want to do something very busy! I feel that if I was teaching infants it would be challenging for me to come with activities that are age apporiate for the infants and safety is huge it has to be safe and can't hurt the infant like choking hazards. I came up with one plan and I thought they were good but I realized that I had many hazards so I have made another one but I think it's not totally safe I wish I could be better at being creative for the infants fun and safety!bi came up with the name very well but not the idea perfect for the age.

Week #10 What I learned this week of school is the different types of learning like physical or emotional for an ifant and how toys are a big part of the learning of motor skills, emotional skills, and social skills! Different toys effect the ifant like some toys give them motor physical like help move their body and touching things, social helps the infant talk, have a relationship, and emotional to be loving, caring and nice to something. Toys are a big part because infants love toys and using these learning parts to their toys. I have been doing research for my child development class on how toys have these social, emotional and physical parts to a toy to the infant. 

Week #9 what I learned this week in child developmental class is how to take care of a flour baby it's not easy at all they are a huge challenge then I was expecting it was fun but difficult! However I read a article today in class that was over abuse and neglect and I learned that most effects is brain damage and how brain damage effects a baby or child's learning, language, and so much more! Also abuse and neglect causes physical problems and emotionally the article was really good at showing people the effects and how it can ruin people's lives because People are so selfish! 

Week #7 I learned this week how to make a flower baby it was a chnallege I wanted to my make the baby the right way and some what even but I thought the whole time I am doing it wrong! I made my flour baby out of a flour pack, pani hos, and filling. My days that I have had the baby for about three days has been great days of cuddling, dressing and showing of my baby! However I hate the people stare at me thinking I am a terrible person like a have a teen pregnancy and its a flower baby or a crazy doll person which I am not! I have learned to really hold and care so much for the baby and if I don't I probably would have failed this project by now! 

Week #6 what I learned this week in child development is watching many births in action and the possible option of having your baby in water seems great relaxing more reliaxable and something interesting! I learned that the premature babies are normal around 37 weeks early as early to survive any earlier and it's possible but not to early which is insane that's so early!  

Week #5 what I learned this week in child development class. 

I learned how to give birth and the processes of birth. I watched the miracle of life a documentary on the process of growing a baby and a women giving birth. I learned the different types of giving birth and processes and steps of labor.

Week #4 what I learned in my child development class 

Empathy belly, is my lesson of the week I wore the empathy belly on September 1st on Tuesday.  The empathy belly didn't feel like to much weight however I felt slushing of water, ball hitting the blatter making me need to pee, and baby kicks. It wasn't painful but the belly makes me need to pee and it made me little sore but overall it wasn't bad. The belly was about 20 to 30 pounds about a full sized baby about to be born.
